Stopped by for a cocktail and nibbles with my friend who lives nearby. Loved the passionate, knowledgeable staff and the atmosphere they create here. Great options of wines by the glass but went for a cocktail today and wasn't disappointed by taking the house special. A mix of gin and beer celebrating the Strathbungo neighbourhood. The sharing dips plate was fresh and delicious. Lots of people were in buying beer or wine to take home so it offers more than just a sit in service. I'm already looking forward to a return visit.

We are a little wine bar - passionate about honest, excellent and unpretentious food, drink and service. All our wine is natural, organic, biodynamic or low intervention and we serve delicious fresh tacos exclusively from the kitchens of local food institutions Dennistoun Bar-B-Que and The Hug & Pint. We also have an enviable range of whiskies, beers and fine spirits.

The Wine Press is one of my favourite places in Dundee for a night out at the moment, I’ve always had a brilliant time whenever I’ve been. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, the wine selection is enormous and the food platters are so good-the cheese in particular. I also love the modern-rustic decor of the venue. If you’re looking for somewhere classy and a bit different that doesn’t smash the bank balance then this is the place!

Grape & Grain is a luxurious new wine bar located in Aberdeens west end. Serving an award winning collection of wines, as well as showcasing the best beer, spirits, and food Scotland has to offer.
Went with our daughter who lives in Aberdeen on her recommendation. Booked a table for 8pm on Saturday night and was delighted we did not feel in the least bit ‘encouraged’ to drink up and leave so they could re-book the table. The decor was very opulent - probably Christmas decor as it was very sparkly. Lovely dark and rich colours with accents of rose gold. We sat in a generous and comfortable booth which felt very private and we were able to hold a conversation without had to shout to be heard. Nice touch to have phone charging tables and the lighting was bright but not glaring rather than the gloom so often used in bars. Fantastic drinks selection and knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed a variety of gins with pared tonic and had a mixed cheese and charcuterie platter. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. Definitely recommended for couples or a group of friends. My husband went to pay the bill and when he returned and I asked him how much it was - the platters were not priced and I was curious to see how much they cost. Realised that we had only been charged for the gins. We could have walked away as he didn’t notice just payed what it said on the bill but like 99% of people we were honest and he went back to point out that we had not been charged for the platter. Disappointingly his honesty was not acknowledged. A lovely bar, nicely styled, great drinks selection, friendly knowledgeable staff. A most enjoyable Saturday night out in Aberdeen.

Fully refurbished in 2020, the opulent, sleek interiors are the perfect backdrop to a superb cocktail list and menu of South American bites. Sister venue, SUPERICO Restaurant, is located just a few doors up the street, making this the perfect spot for pre- or post-dinner cocktails.
One of the most beautiful bars with gorgeous drinks. Our waitress ( didn’t take her name )with blonde hair was extremely polite and made our night ! Would definitely return and recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh.
