Lovely harbour with plenty of shops and places to sit outside. The whole coast has quite a few closely located harbours all of which are lovely and make for a nice walk (from Crail to Elie)

Not much to see here but it is a peaceful little place. Nice place to sit and eat ice cream or fish and chips or just a walk.

We keep our sailing boat in the marina and our biggest problem is that the facilities are so good - why would you want to sail away! Delightful spot with excellent facilities.

A safe and secure marina near to the heart of Stromness in the Orkney Islands. A day's sail from mainland Scotland, explore this ancient archipelago.

I live in Banff though I am not a 'Banff Loon' so I might be a bit prejudiced Unlike another review, there are lots of places to get a bite to eat, both chemists have excellent cafes above them and there are various eateries including a new cafe above the famous Spotty Bag Shop which overlooks Banff bay towards Macduff. The Quayside at Banff is full of very pretty boats - a gem for a painter or photographer and with an incoming tide it's pretty good if you want to fish too. There are pubs along the quayside too, the Ship which was featured in Local Hero and the Market Arms which now does a very good lunch. Banff is a great place to have a wander around. Five stars every time.
