The Tower was built before the church and it has remarkable similarities to the tower at Dunblane The Church was built in the 1100s by the community of the Culdees . The church has undergone many changes over hundreds of years . It has a long history and many old gravestones in the Graveyard . Entry is free everyday The Tower is significant architecturally as One of the few complete Medieval towers in Scotland
