Scicli is a town and municipality in the Province of Ragusa in the south east of Sicily, Italy. It is 25 kilometres (16 mi) from Ragusa, and 308 kilometres (191 mi) from Palermo, and has a population (2017) of 27,101. Alongside seven other cities in the Val di Noto, it has been listed as one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.

In the tour to visit scenes of the set of "Inspector Montalbano", the are mainly concentrated in Ragusa (Vigata), the area of a moving beauty, that the shots Sironi have been able to exploit and make it ideal for the stories and the characters. Scicli, here we can visit the Montelusa police office. Afterwards we will visit the seaside house of Inspector Montalbano, with its balcon up the beach. Marinella is a name invented, but the one seen in fiction is PUNTA SECCA. We used this company for a week-long trip to Sicily, including airport transfers, hotel transfers between Taormina, Siracusa, and Ragusa, and a few site and winery tours. The driving service was excellent---on time, professional, and knowledgeable. Both Francesco and Luciano were wonderful. We booked a few specialized tours on our own and those turned out to be better than the tours we booked through this company. I think guides can be hit or miss---Mila in Siracusa was wonderful and Teresa in Agrigento was on her telephone the entire time she was with us. The wineries they booked for us were also hit and miss---Murgo on Etna had great wines but we arrived an hour early and had to stand around in the rain, and the biodynamic winery in Noto (Cantina Marilina) had great food but wines that were largely undrinkable. There was also a problem with our chocolate tasting tour in Modica so we missed the laboratory visit. But I can't fault the company for the guides or the wineries, really. They are basically an excellent chauffeur service, and we can wholly recommend using them as a driving service. Their professionalism and courtesy made our holiday stress-free and, given the opportunity, we would book them again.

First off, I booked this tour December 30th at about 8:30pm via Viator fir Dec 31st tour. The operator emailed me right away to clarify things that made the tour go smoothly. When we arrived in Catania at 5:40 early in the morning, our driver Danilo was was waiting for us already. We had an early start, meaning our time was not wasted at all. When we reached in Taormina, I asked Danilo to check if we can add done of the Godfather places to check and he called his boss right away and was confirmed we can do it. I was happy and appreciated the flexibility. We were able to check the places that I wanted to go. Just a reminder, our driver is not a licensed tourist guide but he tells us where to go and drop us off and pick us up like “door to door”. I would suggest to google the best places to visit and tell the driver what you most like to visit and read all about it. You will appreciate more if you know the story behind that particular area. This tour works perfectly for us. Thank you Danilo for doing above and beyond of what you are doing. Cheers!

I had a great day visiting Mount Etna, learning about the history of the volcano, and previous eruptions. I also enjoyed a wine tasting and tour of a winery. A delicious light lunch was also included, but for me the highlight could have tasting a selection of delicious honeys! Paola my guide was fantastic., and I was the only client,, so it was great to have my own personal guide. I would definitely recommend this tour.

It was a fantastic Italian experience, our driver Gianluca was very polite and he knows every corner of Sicily, to stop in great places for lunch, he stops to let us take the best photos, the minivan is very clean and comfortable. We stay in the most authentic hotels where you immediately feel like at home, spectacular views and professional service. In every place we were accompanied by a local guide whose knowledge was enciclopec. They were all knowledgeable and spontanious that made the experience special. For our three teenagers the best day was Mount Etna and Taormina experience. Highly recommended

We wished we could see Pope Francis but we could never expected we could see him so closely thanks to Rossana great effort. Rossana and our driver Luigi are both great persons and the visit to the Pope very well organized. They both were professional, supportive, engaging and very helpful. Rossana took really a great effort to make the visit tailored to our needs and she had great sense of humour. Big thanks to R and L. We would highly recommend this tour.
