This wildlife sanctuary is famous for its population of tigers, a 1000-year-old fort and a rich diversity of flora and fauna.
We did 3 game drives and were very lucky and saw tigers each time, as well as lots of other animals (sloth bear, antelope, crocodile, deer amongst many others) and also beautiful landscapes and sunset/sunrises. On one drive in particular we were lucky enough to see 2 tigers playing, walking along and crossing in front of our jeep, wonderful. we appreciate we were very lucky as the tigers do not always want to be seen!

Scenic lake esp at the forenoon time with all migratory birds like Falcons,Flamingoes and black feathered stilt---You can watch them all at one place. BUT the route to the lake is bit confusing--- Go to Karmoda first from Sawaimadhopur then follow the Google map ---Thanks to the technology !!!

India Wildlife Safari regular visitors consider Ranthambore, as one of the best national parks in the world to see Bengal tigers, wild, in their natural habitat. But here you don’t just see Bengal tigers you see Noor, Machali , Star male, Unnis and visit Kanha, Corbett, Bandhavgarh, Tadoba & Ghana too.
We had four safari tours arranged by our tour operator but on the first one we actually saw a tiger, it was all extremely exciting. Lots of other animals to see also, will never forget it ! Be prepared for early morning starts and 18.30 finishes.
