Charming Savannah is the picture of antebellum hospitality, thanks to period architecture and oak-lined streets. It’s tempting to spend your trip just relaxing on vast verandas and sipping mint juleps, but there are plenty of historical sites and museums to explore. Haunting (and possibly haunted) Bonaventure Cemetery is one of the hallmarks of the city, featuring beautiful obelisks, masses of flowers, and ivy-covered crypts. Dine on fresh seafood and creamy grits for a taste of Savannah home cooking.

Set in the heart of the historic district, Tiffani Taylor's Gallery creates an inviting and vibrant atmosphere to showcase her equally as welcoming artwork. Her signature red poppies dance along the walls while flecks of gold leaf catch rays of sunlight that stray in through the tall arched windows. Inspired by the beauty of nature and her time in Paris and Italy, Taylor's paintings and pottery are reflective of emotions, moments, life, reverence, and the appreciation of the journey. Her goal for the Gallery is to create a sanctuary. A place where family, friends, and the community can go to escape everyday life, and where anyone and everyone can feel comfortable to discuss art, beauty, and nature, or just to reflect. So whether you're an experienced collector, or just enjoy gallery hopping, stop by the Tiffani Taylor Gallery and see what's captured the eyes of Oprah, Diane Von Furstenberg, SCAD President Paula Wallace, Mayor Jackson, Andre Leon Talley, and locals alike.
Browsing around the gallery is therapeutic--so beautiful, spiritual influences in her art, gorgeous paintings and pottery. Wonderful manager who made my visit even more enjoyable. Must go and feel the peace of this lovely gallery/shop.

This hidden gem is a must see when in Savannah. Easy to find in City Market just opposite the elevator at the Art Center. Oksana has 12 years formal training in art and architecture in Europe. She is a master watercolorist and uses multiple layers in her oil paintings, which takes months to create. Oksana’s paintings are truly three dimensional. Portraits, historic buildings and fountains, children, beautiful women , exotic flowers, birds, delicate and shimmering hummingbirds, wild animals, sometimes all in the same painting. Do not miss this boutique gallery. Prices for all budgets. Originals, reproductions and limited-edition archival prints.

This art gallery is the bomb! What caught my eye were the paintings of scenes from the movie "The Big Lebrowski" and what kept me inside ooohhhing and awwwwhhhing for at least an hour were all the fantastic paintings, odds and ends, and fabulously unique and expertly crafted works of art! I'm also a sucker for cats and "Pete the Cat" paintings and merchandise was in there and I snatched up some goodies right away! "The Dude" shirt is THE shirt to get to commemorate your visit to Savannah, the magnets are also hilarious ;), and the fantasy paintings by Fian Arroyo are mesmerizing :o! Overall, a must-see and shopping location in Savannah, GA and definitely one of the highlights of my trip! Lastly, the young woman working in there was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable and she gave me the perfect advice for my newly bought art prints which will help them look great framed! Thanks!

Daedalus gallery displays the work of Jacqueline Carcagno and William Weyman permanently. We, at Daedalus Gallery, strive to show only works of art which exhibit the integrity of form, which is to say, the organic unity of the whole where form and content are one.

I have shopped at this excellent gallery over the years. Everytime we visit Savannah I head to this amazing gallery on River street. It is by far the best place on the River. They carry the work of over 30 local artists, since it's a coop the artist take turns operating the gallery, this is such a wonderful perk because you get to meet and visit with some of the artists. I just returned from a trip to Savannah and yes I visited Gallery 209, went away with great gifts and some pieces for myself. They have a wide variety of art: paintings, wonderful woven items ( I purchased two by Suzanne Work Hokanson), glass work, beautiful and creative jewelry, pottery, etc. there is something for everyone. Lisa Rosenmeier has some really cute animal paintings as well as other renderings. The jewelry artists are highly creative and affordable. I HIGHLY recommend this gallery. Plan on spending some time because there is so much to see.
