This sculpture park was intended to house the works of the designer, but the setting itself became the artist's masterwork. It is possible to visit by appointment on non-open days.
It was part of my Month long fall color trip to New England area and I was looking for something to do while in Poughkeepsie NY. Opus 40 is amazing place lots of hard work put into build the stone walls and the monument by oneman! The place is not very big but this is the place where you can take a walk and has picnic table so you can pack your picnic and enjoy.

Upstate NY museum (not in the town of Woodstock) that depicts the era, how the concert came to be and the 3 day show itself. A little light on period artifacts, but the story is well told. Definitely worth watching the video that runs on a 30 min cycle at the end and visiting the site. Nice store as well.
This is one of the best places in the world to get a tattoo! or experience and purchase the life of fine art. Its a very small space that allows you to get up and close to some of the best art in the world. The art consists of new contemporary ideas and high detailed portraiture. There are two artists that curate the gallery, Salvador Vargas III and Kate Roosa; while having three to ten artists participate when we have major gallery openings. We have a couple of mascots to lead the way in celebrating the water element in Saugerties. We have a ninety five gallon saltwater tank. The tank is a friendly based tank with clownfish (Nemo) gobies, and so many other wildlife. All of our mascots have been sustainably raised and well taken for.
