We spend a beautiful afternoon there among the green bamboos, several Japanese style wood structures, a Japanese garden with a Koi pond.
The admission is $8. per person and it well worth it.
I feel that this Japanese garden is a lot more beautiful than the ones in San Francisco and San Jose.

Park featuring 23 miles of running trails.
A moderate level hike through a few hills. Doesn't get too steep but you'll be going up quite a bit (and then down). There isn't a ton of tree coverage so bring your sunscreen and avoid during the summer.

Have always wanted to go to the Fantasy of Lights at Vasona Park. Never got it done. This year we could get tickets for specific time to see the lights. Was very impressed with how organized the experience was. The lights were amazing. It took us about an hour and 15 minutes to see it all. I am so glad we finally saw it. Thinking of going back for a second time. The people in other cars were fun to watch too. Moon roofs had people above the roof. Some hung out of the windows. I know it is not politically correct but the only thing to make it better would have been a Hanukkah candles, Kwanzaa decorations and a Nativity.

Incredibly colorful and flavorful market, we spent one hour walking among stalls of fresh produce, flowers, soaps, pizza, naan, pastries, breads, cheeses, etc, the most amazing part was the sampling offered to the visitors, you can fill yourself and not be hungry for the rest of the day, but in case you want more foods you can stop at one of the charming cafes that are situated in the same street as the market. Parking was full therefore we parked at city hall and walked five minutes to the market. If I lived here I would go every Sunday and not miss one .

Most of the beds were full of weeds, plants have not been pruned and many have black spot on leaves. Surely there is a garden club or some volunteers that could help maintain the gardens. This is the most poorly maintained garden I have visited anywhere.

We’ll be closed for renovation starting June 15. The Company Store is the original Apple Employee store located at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino. We are open to the public, but we are a little different than your local Apple Retail Store. While we don't sell computers, iPhones or have a Genius Bar, we are the only place in the world that sells Apple logo t-shirts, caps and accessories. So, if you find yourself in the San Francisco Bay Area, please stop by and visit us.
Problem with the 6+ iPhone
The touch screen on the iPhone became unresponsive and there were flashing white horizontal lines coming down from the top to the upper quarter of the screen.
I spoke to A total of five extremely helpful Apple support people to troubleshoot. In the course of this, I learned there were not surprised by this problem and two of them guessed that my phone must be a 6+.
If this is a KNOWN problem, just like the battery on other phones, Apple should replace the phone without charging for repair. My phone was a little more than two years old, and I believe that is too early for this kind of hardware failure. The phone had only normal, careful handling.

A Mediterranean-style villa with intricate gardens and grounds, which also includes an artists residency, a small gallery, hiking trails, and both indoor and outdoor theatres for concerts and performances.
An interesting center for the arts with an 'artists in residence program'. There are concerts, exhibitions and activities happening throughout the year and there are numerous trails for walking. There are also wonderful innovative summer camps for kids of all ages. If you become a member you will be instantly aware of all the wonderful things that go on and you will be able to get your tickets early!

It's hard to beat Testarossa pinot noir, and the historical cellar makes a great tasting room. Our one complaint is that there are so many events held here that it is hard for regulars (we are wine club members for over 10 years) to get to the tasting counters.

Paved trail great for running: cuts through parks, ponds, and downtown Los Gatos.
Hiking next to Lake Vasona is calming and peaceful. Nature, various birds, calm water, friendly people; what not to love. This beautiful atmosphere puts me in a meditative state of mind and centers me. Best time to hike during week days when it’s not crowded. Come with a dog or a friend and enjoy it.
