Bundian Way Story Walk

Reviewed By Bryonia72 - Canberra, Australia

A lovely walk which I believe has only just been developed. It has numerous lookouts which overlook various hidden bays. The vegetation and wildlife are lovely and this is an easy walk for a family. Due to steps I don't advise prams or wheelchairs. The information posts are not yet up but I'd love to re-do the walk when they are.

Nice beach with a great playground and grass area. Lots of sand and room to play, and not too far from the centre of town.

A simple walk that concludes with 50 strong stairs if you want to to the beach. Great spot to see whales (there were 6+ on the day we went)

Blue Pool

A must visit site when in the area. Perfect for a refreshing swim after a walk, with amazing scenery. If the timing is right you might even see seals or a whale. Just a note for people with limited mobility - you will need to descend and ascend quite a few steps to access the Blue Pool.

Mumbulla Falls

They drive was a long dirt road but once you get there it’s breath taking! Be cautious of slippery rocks once you go down to the waterfall. Eels can be spotted in the lower falls if you are lucky

Camel Rock

Reviewed By zlatab2015 - Sydney, Australia

Very large and impressive although it isn’t my first visit I still enjoyed very much . I love cliffs and rocks and if they form some similarities with anything it is even more interesting.Camel rock is equally impressive under low or high tide the only difference is that under low tide you can walk around .Straight next to Camel Rock on the end is another large rock which form Women’s head, very interesting as well.Camel rock is the home of many kind of birds which spend most of the time on the top of the Camel Rock . It is easy access and plenty of parking around .

We rode from merimbula to Panboola - lovely flat and safe cycle along the airstrip, golf course, oyster tasting. Panboola with the kangaroos (loafs of them!) was great particularly around the old racetrack. Finished up at one of the cafes in Pambula - lovely way to spend 2-3hrs with the kids

Chamberlain Lookout and Kianinny Boat Ramp. You must see if you come to Tathra. From the Chamberlain Lookout, you can see the great scenery and the Boat Ramp, the seawater is crystal clear likes jade. There is a playground for kids, BBQ, and walk path for hiking.

Mimosa Rocks National Park

Reviewed By Emanpee - Sydney, Australia

There are several different access roads into the coastal part of Mimosa National Park. We entered via Nelson Lake Road and took in the short but picturesque Wajurda Point and Moon Bay walks. Wajurda Point is a 450m ,one way reasonably flat, walk to a very good lookout platform that gives great coastal and ocean views. Moon Bay walk from the same carpark starting point is only 250m but nearly all downhill and formed steps to the beach, so a steep walk back. Well worth the small detour off the highway, plenty of free parking and accessible by 2WD. No facilities except basic toilet.
