The northwest market town of Sapa is colorful and charming, providing the perfect oasis in the midst of a strenuous mountain trek or rice-paddy tour. The Gothic stone church at the center of town is a bull’s-eye in the center of shops and stalls, serving as a reminder of the town’s French missionary influence. Dine on Vietnamese or European-inspired cuisine downtown, and don’t miss the Saturday night "love market," one of the most potent—and strictest—single’s nights imaginable.

Our tour guide was a girl named So (pronounced Surh) and she was part of the Red Dao tribe. She was so lovely, had a lot of information to provide through the day and spoke English, Vietnamese, and Dao very well. The tour consists of casual strolling through the different village tribes and a jungle trek. There is an option to bypass the jungle trek which makes this tour suitable for different strengths. Would definitely recommend!

**DON'T BOOK OVER TRIPADVISOR. PHAM (TREKKING GUIDE) IS NOT THE OWNER AND HAS, ACCORDING TO HER, NO ACCESS TO IT** when booking just call or email her. We did 3 d 2 n trekking and so far this was the highlight of our trip. Her family, bingo (dog) and Mimi (cat) are super nice. The food was one of the best Vietnamese food we had so far. They even prepared vegetarian food for us (vegan is also possible). The trekking was great and we were able to see how the people live and as well see the beautiful scenery of sa pa. We highly recommend booking Pham for tracking!

The Sapa bike tour was lots of fun for my wife and I! Man May picked us up at our hotel right on time and got us comfortable on the bikes before setting out. The bikes were easy to handle, however, the horn, speedometer, and headlights didn't work on one of the bikes. May was a great guide, and was more than willing to update our route so that we would get better views despite low and dense fog. Meeting a local family to have tea was a great experience. However, we felt a bit pressured to buy souvenirs. Overall, great experience.

Our guide May gave us the most amazing three days around sapa. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the nature, the different tribes, their history and traditions. She made us feel very safe and comfortable even where the roads seemed a bit rough. May also introduced us to the traditional cooking and gave us some of the best food experiences we’ve had in all of Vietnam. I highly recommend this tour with May as your guide.

Be prepared to trek for at least 25-30 minutes to reach this waterfall , the trek is nice , pretty easy but you will go down a lot of steps on the way to the waterfall and that means you will have to climb back up the steps on yr return which is not that difficult but if elderly or have walking issues you might find it hard work !! unfortunately in feb there was only a little water at the falls but scenery around the falls with plenty of photo opps , all in all worth the motorbike ride to get there !!!

We, a family or 4, booked a 3D4N trip to Sapa and Bac Ha with 1 night homestay and 1 night hotel. We booked at Sapa Trekking Homestay, which I believe is a part of travel agency Asia Group Tour with an office in Hanoi. The 2D Sapa trekking with homestay was a marvelous experience. Beautiful scenery, nice local guide and good food. The 3rd day to Bac Ha we did with another tour guide. The visit to the market in the morning was very good, however after lunch the guide went into "fast-forward" mode and problems started. He literally ran us through Ban Pho village and the Hoang A Tuong Palace. He did not explain anything and did not look very knowledgeable. There was no drinking green tea and talking with locals as described in the program. We rushed back to Lao Cai and were dropped at a restaurant next to the train station at 4pm while our train left only at 9pm. We were facing 5(!!) long waiting hours. The guide left us and we had to take care of ourselves and of our train tickets which caused some confusion in the restaurant because the staff was poor in English. Before he left us we kindly asked him for an explanation and he became annoyed and rude. Sapa is not to miss and the Bac Ha Sunday market is highly recommended, but there is no specific reason you shall book this trip through these guys. I did not see anybody from Sapa Homestay Trekking or Asia Group Tour in Sapa during the trip, all was contracted out to sub-suppliers - it´s pure business, no personal touch. This was the only trip we booked through their website in advance, before we arrived in Vietnam, which clearly was a mistake. We should have booked it at a good travel agency in Hanoi after we arrived in Hanoi, as we did with all of our other tours from Hanoi and Saigon. One more tip: book a higher-class hotel room in Sapa is you have the option. Hotel quality in Sapa is sub-standard and you will not regret the extra money you spend.

The Ta Xua landscapes were stunning and the organisation was seamless. From the pick up in Hanoi, to the very charming and warm welcome at the homestay (very clean) to the great meals cooked along the way. We went for a 3D2N trek up to Ta Xua Mountain surrounded by Hmong and Thai ethnies. The trek was amazing but quite though so we ended up doing 2D1N, which was really great as we took 1 more day to explore the valley. We can highly recommand Zonitrip for any adventurous trek. In addition to the very well organised trip, we had an amazing time thanks to Zoni's kindness, attentiveness overall happiness. We will never forget this trip. <3 We highly recommand Zoni and the Ta Xua climb to anyone looking for off the beaten path, high energy experiences - you won't regret it.
