Praia Jale

Reviewed By Stilltraveling9

Praia Jale is a very lovely beach with three simple but comfortable cottages (no hot water or fans, electricity in the evening). Good, simple meals provided. While difficult to reach its isolation is a romantic attraction. It's possible to get public transport to Porto Alegre and then try to negotiate further private transport from there otherwise arrange transport from Sao Tome town to resort. Praia Jale is included in all the southern route day tours.

Pico Cao Grande

Reviewed By gira_503 - Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Pico Cao Grande is quite a unique landmark! I enjoyed the drive to the south of the island as well as the amazing view of the Pico. There is no way you can miss it, just keep driving south until you see it. Luckily, the roads are empty enough that you can always stop and take some great photos.

Museu Nacional De Sao Tome & Principe

Reviewed By jrdh2012 - Anyos, Andorra

My expectations were low but I'm thankful i took the time to visit the museum. The guide could only speak in Portuguese but we manage to understand her explanations. Very informative and frankly a must if you want to understand a bit the struggles santomeans have gone thru since the islands were discovered by the Portuguese and their economies shaped to fit the needs of the empire.
