While crowds of tourists fill Venice, Florence and Rome, Bologna remains relatively quiet in comparison. This medieval university town is charming, historic and fun to explore… and you'll find Bologna's local cuisine is light-years away from the American deli meat bearing the city's name.

Not to be missed while in Bologna. This is the oldest bar in Bologna (dates to the 1600's) and rather than BYO wine here you BYO food, The wine is cheap and very local, the place is humming and a wonderful environment to relax and share time and food with friends. The place gets packed and then you can spill out onto the street with your wine and continue your conversation. Large tables inside and if you can catch your time and snag one make for an incredible special experience. We picked up our supplies from Simoni just around the corner.

The Zibaldone wants to become your "locus amoenus" where you can feel free to play, sing or simply have a drink in good company. The Zibaldone wants to be a collection of creative projects, cultural artistic ideas and therefore, of playful emotions and disengagement for all the New Art Bar visitors.
