I visited this Butterfly place last Saturday, and I loved it, it is just two rooms, the space isn´t very big, but the guide was a specialist in the matter. he knew what he was talking about, it was supper interesting, and the room was amazing, I felt like I was in the tropics, surrounded by amazing big butterflies flying around us, and this amazing flora. I just loved it.

We visited Falcoaria while staying at Salvaterra Country House following the host's suggestion. We had never heard about the history of the hunting functions of Falcons through the ages and would never guess it still is something useful nowadays. The museum is well organized, and the guide is knowledgable, polite, engaging and very professional. We do appreciate a guided tour.

This park, one of many beautiful green spaces in the city of Tomar, is exquisite. You can, if you wish, walk all the way up to the Convent on various pathways. If you do go to the park, you walk beneath old and pine trees and are surrounded by terraces, flowers galore, hedges, fountains and urns. A very beautiful and peaceful spot to sit a reflect for minutes, or hours, before setting out to sightsee again. It is certainly one of the most beautiful parks we visited on our trip. There is no admission charge as it is open to the public without charge.

Parque Natural das Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Protected Areas The greatest riches of the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park are hidden within its interior. This chalk massif is a paradise for speleologists who will be able to discover grottoes and ravines in its depths, with surprising rock formations that have been sculpted by water over time.

One of the main tourist destinations in the region where beauty and hospitality are offered by the Lago Azu. There is am Anchorage and gasoline for boats.
Lago Azul (Blue Lake) is a hidden beautiful location, perfect for all sorts of tourists, it is a place you go to relax and enjoy the views. Ideal for water sports, pic nics and activities. I was so impressed when driving down the lake, the roads are easy to drive and when you arrive you can stop in the top to take photos, most beautiful views. Is not far from there there is the town of TOMAR where you can find lots of restaurant options and it is another great place to explore.
