Little Rainbow Foot Spa

I walk 10 plus miles a day and have had several foot and body massages at the best of best Salons. I knew that this was an economical option. On one visit I did the 30 foot massage. Amazing. You lie down, relax, and although the English is limited, they will ask ok? I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I was with girl friends and several of us went. My gal was “Wendy”. We booked 90 min massages for the next day. Myself and 2 daughters. I had Wendy again and was thrilled. Back, neck arms legs scalp not as much feet this time. But they can find the knot and work it out. It was so inexpensive compared to salons. No steam no cocktails, no wave soundtrack but for $80 plus tip you can have a 90 min massage. I would go again.

By chance, our group ended up out in Solvang and noticed that there was an escape room out here run by the same people who run the Ventura location by the same name. We couldn't help but chose to spend a portion of our day trying out the Gold Fever room, which was entirely new to us (both locations currently have no overlap in rooms, so each offers wholly new experiences!) Finding the place and parking was a breeze, and the process to sign in was simple. We got there and up into our room within 5 minutes. The staff was friendly and polite and made sure we understood the rules and also had fun with the theme by speaking to us in an old-timey voice that made the experience just that much more unique :) Loved the room. Won't speak anything about the details but it's well put together and a good team should be able to escape with minimal hints within the hour long time limit. Afterwards the staff was very accommodating with our desire to get a "good" picture to be sent to us, and when we went back downstairs we had the good fortune of running into what I believe was 2 out of the 3 owners. They were exceptionally polite - and answered tons of questions of ours that we had about the escape rooms here and in Ventura. Cannot speak enough about how invested the owners were in the good nature of their business and how evident their passion for escape rooms was. We all spoke at some length about escape rooms, and our love for the puzzles and cooperative thinking. They were even kind enough to give us a tour of the Danish room that seems to be perfect for beginner players to walk in and try - and boy did it feel like a blast of nostalgia for this Swede! Was a great cap to the experience. Thank you again for a wonderful time and I cannot wait to come back to the Solvang location to try out the third room they're working on.

Chumash Casino

They've added about 20,000 square feet of new gambling area and a new hotel tower. The rooms are really nice with great amenities. The table games are just like Las Vegas and there are a huge variety of slot machines...everything you'd possibly want and most of them are brand new games. When you sign up for a Club card you get $100 in free play...$50 right away and then $50 on your next visit. Have fun and good luck!!!!
