The beaches of Santa Monica attract all sorts of visitors-- don't be surprised to see families playing on the sand next to a boot-camp fitness class with a barking instructor. Visit the Santa Monica Pier, a haven of shops, restaurants, and carnival attractions (including a Ferris wheel) atop a wooden wharf. I did not want to come back to reality! I have heard so much about virtual reality I had to check it out, on Valentine’s day we went down to the VR Hour in Santa Monica and it was so much more than we expected. The effects were astounding and the mission we were on was so fun I completely felt like I was in a different world. When it was all over I wanted to immediately try the next levels! You’ll love the experience, the staff was so helpful and they had the best pricing! :)

Ok, I am a Gramma who does not play video games! But I scheduled a special Christmas trip from Colorado to California JUST to go be IN the Void Experience. I took my Best Friend, her adult son, her grandson & Mine, her hubby & mine. It was thier first time. What a hoot - they LOVED it just as much as we did. We started with Olando Star Wars 2 years ago. Jumanji was way better, more immersive, even the smells and little water spray. I must say that my gramma buddy was the "shortest ROCK" ever. The rolling chairs out front kept the kids entertained while we waited about 20 minutes. Loved it so much we also went to Downtown Disney Void 2 days later for the Avengers, simply great fun! Her husband just kept repeating "I don't get it", which had me laughing! I highly recomend this experience for grandparents to do with thier grandkids. You will love it! Several shows to choose from - have FUN!
