Visited Tenuta Quvestra with a group of friends and had a wonderful afternoon exploring and learning about the estate, the winemaking process, and of course enjoying some fantastic wines. Simone is such a friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable host, and made us all want to run away from the city to make our own wines and bread while surrounded by happy chickens - it’s inspirational to meet someone so dedicated and passionate about their work. The estate is beautiful and the tour is really engaging and comprehensive – Simone took us through the vineyard, cellar, barrel room and bottling area – all of which are done on site. The wines we tasted were delicious. Would absolutely recommend.

Tenuta Riccardi produces and bottles only quality DOC and IGT wines from Oltrepò Pavese. Tenuta Riccardi was established in the early years of the ‘900: it passed from his grandfather’s passion for the tradition and the genuine products to his son, the current owner of the winery farm, who first united this passion to the agricultural jurisdiction and then to the enology. Tenuta Riccardi is today a meeting point for lovers of good drink and food. Every vineyard has been meticulously designed by choosing the composition of the soil, the planting density, the types of rearing (strictly without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides) and the best selection of vine. The Riccardi family has a long tradition of winemaking: a story that started in the XV century, when the family cultivated some parcels of land in the territories of Bobbio. The current company was founded in 1906 by Ernesto Riccardi.
