The quintessential California beach town of Santa Cruz! It was here that surfing was first brought to the mainland by Hawaiian royalty. Home to the legendary Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, a pedestrian-friendly, tree-lined downtown area, and the historic Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf, which stretches out a half-mile into the waters of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Other highlights include UC Santa Cruz, the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum, and nearby redwood forests.

As a creative enthusiast at heart, it is a dream come true for me to teach art in this beautiful and inspiring setting! I am happy to share with you my lifetime of knowledge as a professional artist. I’ve had museum exhibitions and been commissioned by high profile clients and corporations such as Google. In addition, for over ten years, I have shared my passion of creative expression by teaching art to students of all ages in schools, workshops and leading art and wellness retreats.

We enjoyed our time in the redwood groves at Delaveaga Park in Santa Cruz. This is a wonderful park with play fields, meadows, trails to hike, places to play, and picnic areas. It has plenty of free parking.

This is the best theater in Santa Cruz County. Nice, big plush seats that recline are so comfy and just level up the whole movie going experience. The theater is always clean and the snack bar, while expensive as all movie kiosks are, offers a nice variety of tasty snacks. The seats are so superior to any other theater in the county that this is always the first place I look at movies playing and usually, if there is nothing playing here that I want to see, I won't bother finding it at a different theater because I'm so spoiled by, and much prefer, the comfort offered here at Regal 9.
