It is an experience that mixes tourism and art throughout San Miguel de Allende where we meet artists in their own workshops where they do painting, sculpture, textile art, Mexican folk art and more styles. The artists receive us and tell us about their creative processes (techniques, inspiration, etc.) while we have a glass of wine and eat tapas, the tour can be personalized and private or in a group.

This educational experience of the murals in colonia Guadalupe is offered in English with Colleen Sorenson (founder of the Muros en Blanco project) and in Spanish with Arturo Aranda, (founder of Art Tour SMA experiences). They offer the factual explanations of the murals (from the artists themselves...and why this matters), the history of the Street Art movement in San Miguel de Allende and how it has evolved over time since 2012.
