LJB Farms

I am a local so I go by as often as I can for fresh, local produce. They also sell flavored nuts, dried fruits, jams/jellies, local honey and so much more. I like to get gifts from them for family that live out of town.

Wings of History

FYI: This is not a war birds museum nor supported by tax dollars. Great collection of aircraft and memorabilia of flying's past. I have a background in aviation and there were items here I never heard of. Very limited visiting hours and you'll likely get a very informative tour by one of the dedicated volunteers that make this place possible. In spite of their remote location they house the only shop west of the Mississippi licensed to make wood propellers by hand. I spend 3 hours total.

They host so many great country song writer series events, we decided to join the wine club. We get a 25% discount on the bottles we buy at the events. As wine club members they treat us great. We get discounts on dinners and we can bring another couple with us for wine club member tastings. They have a great "wine tree" with about 5 glasses to try for each of us. They have a great patio that looks out over the hillsides. Oh...the wine is great too.
