Studios on the Park is a nonprofit gallery and open studios art center in a prestigious location in downtown Paso Robles, Ca. Studios’ arts access and education services to more than 100,000 students, families and visitors each year help to make the Central Coast region a leader in creative culture, education and innovation. Among our many essential program and outreach efforts is Kids Art Smart. We believe all children should have access to creative learning opportunities through the arts. With arts education cut from local schools, Studios on the Park provides free visual arts programming for thousands of K-12 grade students.
This interesting gallery has something for everyone and is a great asset to the local community by allowing local artists to work in front of clients, and it also has class space for local adults and children to develop their interests and talents. After a wonderful dinner on the square, we walked the perimeter streets and enjoyed our visit, buying a little something to voice our support for the local artists. Car art is a 1950-1953 Hudson, like the ones our family owned in those years! :-)

Visiting Olea Farm is the perfect introduction to the unique extra virgin olive oil tasting. Olives love the warm California sun and produce one of the finest oils on the market. Its taste and essence are intense and powerful yet it is delicate enough to be used in any recipe without over powering the other ingredients.

We had lunch in their event center and enjoyed olive oil tasting and a tour. They have really unique flavors and I purchased the praline flavored to bake with and put on ice cream.

Love this olive oil (organic) and were in the area and toured the farm. Great experience to learn how olive oil makes it to our shelf in an organic manner as well spending time on the porch of of the owner's house tasting and learning about the history of the region. Highly recommend, esp. if you enjoy farm-to-table type of experiences.

This mission was founded among the Salinas Indians, who inhabited the area in the 1700's.
I had actually gone to see the San Miguel Cemetery, but realized that right across the highway there was more of the town of San Miguel. This was a beautiful mission and it was a great place for taking photos. You are free to wander arouond on your own, but they do have self-guided tours, as well as paid tours. There are brick ovens, an olive press, old wagons, a fountain and plenty of beautiful arches. They also have a nice gift shop. I actually made some purchases there. It was a gorgeous day when i went and the blue, California skies made a great backdrop for my photos.

What an amazing place! Delicious olive oils, an educational experience, very friendly customer service, and beautiful grounds. I had such a wonderful time at Pasolivo. I'm Italian and I thought I knew a thing or two about good olive oil, but man was I wrong and the staff at Pasolivo really walked me through all the ins and outs of olive oil. My favorite was the basil flavor. I can honestly say I use the basil oil probably once day. I highly recommend Pasolivo during your stop through wine country in Paso Robles.
