Last June 2013,we together with my husband and my son were visited our friend in Antipolo.Luckily the place that the public vehicle is usually stop at the just near the Antipolo Church. There are lots of native foods like kakanin and authentic "suman" or rice cake and different flavors ,cashew nuts and etc. can avail outside the church vicinity. There also a photographer outside the church that offers to take you souvenir photos and can get it with design.
I already visited the said church before but now ,I can say that lots of changes been there.Hopefully I will be back to this church with my family soon ...

The place believed to be healing illnesses
The place is big enough to accommodate pilgrims and believers, there is designated area for those with cars. They also have this open chapel with barriers and benches facing the mama Mary with wishing well.
Though I noticed, there's this place- bukal ng kalusugan" small and narrow for a huge number of people.
They have also a place to commemorate Pope John Paul(P10.00 entrance) with his replica and other memorabilia, his life story when his growing up.
The church is quite serene. With big statue of saints and well maintained.
Worth the visit.
How to get there:
I came from Malolos, so I rode a jeepney going to Marilao P50.00 then alight at the highway going to Divine.

Pinagrealan Cave

Reviewed By followyouroad - Quezon City, Philippines

Want to go spelunking near the metro? One of the caves that you should go explore is only a few minutes up North. Try Pinagrealan Cave of Norzagaray, Bulacan — a matter of only 3 rides from Cubao.
Pinagrealan is not only famous for its cave formations, it also holds historical significance being the haven and hideout for revolutionaries during the Spanish colonization era (1896), the Filipino-American War (1898) and as a sanctuary of the Japanese Imperial Army.

Want to go spelunking near the metro? One of the caves that you should go explore is only a few minutes up North. Try Pinagrealan Cave of Norzagaray, Bulacan — a matter of only 3 rides from Cubao.DSC_0498Pinagrealan is not only famous for its cave formations, it also holds historical significance being the haven and hideout for revolutionaries during the Spanish colonization era (1896), the Filipino-American War (1898) and as a sanctuary of the Japanese Imperial Army.
Once called Minuyan Cave, Pinagrealan is located at the foot of the Sierra Madre mountain range extending more than a kilometer. The famous personalities that once inhabited this cave is Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo and Gen. Pio del Pilar.
Pinagrealan Cave tells more than history. It is characterized by smooth stalagmites and pointy stalactites beautifully formed by time and the elements. Much of the cave’s ceiling is smooth and circular in shape — as if firmly stroked by a potter’s hand.
Because the cave seemed so quiet and clean, it was hard to imagine all the action that transpired here more than a hundred years ago.
What’s marvelous are the seemingly frozen cave surface droplets that shimmer with a flash of light. These intricate “living” droplets have taken years to form, but a touch of human hands can kill them.
Half of the cave is filled with cold waist-deep water that swells even more after the rain. We did not make it to the very end because of it. This is why weather forecasts should be checked before exploring the cave, to enjoy it to the full extent.
Aside from preparing yourself for the slippery smooth rocks, Pinagrealan Cave is overall easy to navigate especially with the provisions of flashlights and helmets for a mere P50. Guides are required for the exploration, whose rate is according to your tip.

This is not just a religious function place. I was part of the audience that broke the world indooraattendance record during the Philippine Basketball Association opening. It is grand that any visitor will have a nice time seeing it and taking lovely pictures. We were here again for the k pop groups Super Junior and Girl Generation. The place has two giant screens for the audience not to miss a single thing. The important thing it has going for it is very new.The biggest in Asia . The single thing they have yet to correct is a system to service the crowd who want to eat without missing anything in the program. The lines are still too long but the experience worth it. A country's pride

Avilon Zoo

Reviewed By CzarEmmanuel - Manila, Philippines

Avilon Zoo (or Wildlife Conservation Foundation) is located in Rodriguez (former Montalban), Rizal. It's a 7.5 hectare zoo opened to the public in 2004. Compared with other zoos in the country, it claims to have the largest collection of animals today (with more than 3000 specimens!). What I liked in particular about Avilon Zoo are the big arapaimas it has in its lake and the opportunity to have a picture taken either with one of its orangutans (named Trixie) or snakes at a low price (Php 50 only). Aside from this, other fun activities they have include feeding the giraffes, the arapaimas. some barn animals, and, of course, taking selfies or group pix as long as you please.
To get there, take a jeepney or FX from Cubao (going to Rodriguez), get off at Total gas station, then take an orange tricycle. The complete address is: 9003 GP Sitio Gulod, San Isidro, 1860 Rodriguez, Rizal. Dont' worry. The tricycle drivers know exactly where the place is. Entrance fee: Php 700 (with a 50% discount if you buy your ticket on-line). For the zoo's schedule, you may call them up at (+632) 948 3986

Amana Water Park

What is now the 2nd most searched summer destination in the Philippines in Google and has removed Pandi, Bulacan from obscurity was once a vision in the mind of Mr. Enrico Roque- the man behind Bodega ng Bayan (a widely established appliance store here in the Philippines) and Tampisaw Beach Resort (in Iba, Zambales). Named after an ancient Syrian River, AMANA Water Park is far from 'ancient' as it boasts the newest: Tsunami Wave- The Best Wave in Asia! 3500-square meter wave pool 40-foot man-made waterfall Infinity pool with Jacuzzi Kiddie pool with life-sized Dragon Ball characters Twin pool with slide Avatar pool Batanes pool Cavepool Zipline Theme cottages (Baler, Boracay, Calatagan, Camiguin, Laoag, Palawan and Tagaytay inspired) Super heroes and Cartoon characters Toy Museum World class services with distinctively Filipino warmth of hospitality, comfort and convenience for a reasonable cost. The concept for AMANA was first envisioned when the sister-resort, Tampisaw Beach Resort in Iba, Zambales was opened on March 28, 2008. A much bigger resort with a more wide-ranging clientele was conceived which will cater to the customer's total enjoyment! Best amenities, world-class services with distinctly Filipino warmth of hospitality, comfort and convenience for a reasonable cost giving value for one's hard-earned money are just one of the many driving force that molded AMANA Water Park to what is today. Immediately after the acquisition of 8.4 hectares rice field property on June 23, 2008- development was then undertaken for what would be AMANA Water Park. To get the best ideas for the theme of the upcoming water park, Mr. Roque went to about 50 different resorts in Luzon to do ocular and get the best ideas that he could incorporate for his project. On August of the same year groundbreaking commenced and nine (9) months after, the vision was realized in the opening of the AMANA Water Park on March 28, 2009. To date, AMANA has been able to cater to its maximum capacity of customer at an unbelievable 10,000 visitors in a given time- proving that in such short a time the Water Park had reached its maximum potential. St Joseph the Worker Parish may appear large when seen from
the roadside but when i decided to pay a visit and hear Mass on the first Sunday of 2017, the space inside could not accommodate all the parishioners.
I was told that St Joseph, the foster father of Jesus Christ, never uttered a word when his wife was chosen to conceive the Messiah. his golden silence and ready acceptance to be with Mary even when she was carrying somebody else's child was noble enough to carry out the Divine Plan. he is a silent worker that gets things done.
This parish serves its purpose of getting people closer to God - in silent and meaningful ways.
