According to a 2014 Census estimate, San Angelo has a total population of 100,450. It is the principal city and center of the San Angelo metropolitan area, which has a population of 118,182.

While visiting in the San Angelo area I took my three grand children to the Nature Center. It was a fun inexpensive experience. There are enough exhibits to keep all ages entertained.

Great place for locals to experience nature. Often have guided hikes as well as other activities. Official state of Texas Longhorn herd as well as bison. This trip was for kayaking. Very few people around -hope the lake continues to have water since this is a great location for a quick paddle!!
