Brazil's former capital is renowned for its African-influenced cuisine, music and architecture. Known as "the Capital of Joy," because of its exuberant week-long Carnaval celebrations, Salvador brims with contemporary music and art amid architecture that has gone untouched since the 17th century.

Salvador is a historic city and has many places to visit. If you want to know a little about Salvador's history, you can visit the Pelourinho or if you like beach, you can visit Flamengo beach. But if you like to buy many things or to watch movies, you can visit a mall. My favorite is Salvador Mall, built in 2007 and expanded in 2009. After expansion work, Salvador Mall has become the largest in the state of Bahia. It has many stores and some movie theaters. I like this place because it's clean, well illuminated and well ar conditioned. Salvador Mall is the ideal place if you didn't plan anything for your weekend or to visit some day.

The Shopping da Bahia mall is located in the growing vector area of the city and one of the main avenues of Salvador. From the Mall you are just a few minutes away from: Beaches, the International Airport and great tourism spots. The bus station is right across the mall and you also counts with a huge taxi services provision.
