Bakers Island Light

Bakers Island Light Station is located on Bakers Island in Salem Sound, a 60 acre island with a large summer colony. The 10 acre light station is located in the northwest quadrant of the island, and has been owned and operated by the federal government since 1798. The rest of the island is in private ownership including the Bakers Island Wharf. Currently the only way for the public to access the island is aboard our landing craft the Naumkeag. The boat lands at a stone beach (not a dock) where you disembark and follow the guide up to the Light Station where you will enjoy an hour long tour on the 10 acres owned by Essex Heritage with panoramic views of the coast from Boston to Gloucester. (Trip is 2.5 hours total)

Witchwood Tours

I have a passion for knowledge and sharing what I've learned with others. To me, the world is a magical place, and it's up to everyday people to preserve what is truly sacred and change what inhibits growth. Sometimes, a walk in the woods with a witch is what you need to gain a fresh perspective on life.
