This area is a `must visit` for world war 2 enthusiasts. If you are visiting the St naziare U boat pens , then i suggest doing some research before you go, otherwise you are just looking at a concrete structure. This place is fasinating. Its got 14 U boat docks that you can walk through. A covered lock that is across from the pens, with a french submarine at the rear of the lock. Go onto the pen roof , you can walk under a `Fangrost` Roof that no allied bomb could penetrate. Also do some research on `operation Chariot` The greatest british raid of world war 2, that happened here.
