The history of St. Louis has been heavily influenced by Westward expansion and blues music. The big "must-see" in this region is the Gateway Arch, while other important sites include the Museum of Westward Expansion, the St. Louis Cathedral and the Anheuser-Busch factory tour. The city offers plenty for the whole family. Children will enjoy the local zoo and the Magic House, while family members will also want to unwind at Forest Park, home to the World's Fair almost a century ago.

We were actually getting ourselves some BBQ next door at Pappy's Smokehouse, and stumbled upon this cool little Brewery. Our bartenders, Brody and Nick were so cool and actually let us eat at the bar. We really felt welcome, as these two guys really went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The Brewery had some really good beers including my favorite, their home brewed IPA. The cool thing about this place is the fact that it is a St-Louis Blues spot, with the wooden bar made out of the old arena! Definitely a must do while in St-Louis!

Had pumpkin ale, oatmeal stout, merry berry and Kolsh to drink. The food was also very good, had cheese and ham platter. Went there twice as it was a good place to go, quite busy and the drinks were great.

Traveling a lot, i get to visit many breweries and 4hands is a favorite. We never feel rushed and their IPAs and stouts are standouts. Arcade style stuff upstairs. There are a lot of breweries in town and this is a standout if you like really goood craft beer. Enjoy!

We did the Bud Light tour and loved it! We got to see Clydesdale horses, we learned about the process of making beer, we saw product being bottled, and we had two samples en route plus a full beer at the end of our tour. We were also given a Bud Light platinum to bring home; we were told to drink it that night because how often would we be able to say this beer was brewed in the last 24 hours! Shout out to Connor, our tour guide, for doing such a great job. Heads up that the tour involves walking outside so dress appropriately. A shuttle brings you back at the end of the tour. Parking is free. There's a great gift shop on site, and there is a free shuttle to Ball Park Village. The cost of our tour was $10/person plus tax.

First off, Perennial is a great brewery. They are known for their stouts (primarily Abraxas (Chile Chocolate) and Maman (Vanilla)) but they also make very fine IPAs and I personally think they really shine at Barleywine (Blue Ridge and Vermilion). What makes Perennial so great is that it is a stellar beer bar, a good restaurant (although with a small and snack/sandwich oriented menu), they have a nice patio (with a fire pit when its chilly), and is totally kid friendly. My kids regularly take over the dartboards, they have a huge selection of one site games to borrow, and pretty much no one cares they are there so long as they aren't running around like hooligans. If you are a beer tourist with the family, this is likely the easiest stop to make.

Wonderful tour! If you are really interested in the beer making process you need to bypass Budweiser and go to Schlafly. The tour is a wonderful mix of history and beer brewing process. Our tour guide let us sample many of the different beers. It wasn’t rushed but a great time spent at this company.

This place is amazing. World class sours and craft beer and even a great whiskey selection. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is great. Maplewood is a fun area to visit and this is a must go to if you like craft beer.

Six Mile Bridge's original food service was supplied by food trucks & pop-up vendors, seemingly with some success to compliment their variety of taproom products. They have since introduced their own food menu with a good variety of house-prepared apps & salads & sandwiches & entrees & sides. This summer & into fall they have been hosting outdoor seating on the sidewalk (weather permitting), with indoor service when STL County has allowed and curbside pickup for on-line orders. They are doing everything they can to keep their small business going, and they are clearly passionate about their products & service. My wife & I ordered lunch on-line for pickup on the day before Thanksgiving. The web ordering was easy to navigate & pay ahead, and our food was brought to my car curbside as soon as I pulled up. My wife liked the lightly toasted pretzel bites appetizer with dipping sauces (house Irish Red ale mustard & ghost pepper Jack cheese), and especially enjoyed the Greek salad with fresh ingredients & creamy peppercorn dressing. My house ground Justin Beefer double flat patty burger with onion straws & ghost pepper cheese was delicious, and the generous side of roasted potato wedges were hot & meaty. I'll be keeping an eye on the SMB social media sites for their future daily specials, and we will definitely return.
