The 5$ entry fee is well worth the beautiful beach and to pay for the care the family takes of it. Some snorkeling if you don't mind a bit of rough and tumble. Local family also sells food and drinks. The meal was exquisite, so was the price. 30 a plate US. Well worth the quality and quantity but way above what we were expecting. Safe place, picnic tables in and out of shade. You can bring your own food and drinks.

After a 6.8 km hike of section 13 of the Waitukubuli Trail, this was the perfect place to rest our weary bones. Definitely find a local guide to bring you as it is off the beaten path (try Tom at Wanderlust Caribben). After a short hike down to the river cross a stream to find the pool. The water is great, the waterfall is strong and the jump is breathtaking! Make sure you partake in it all.

Dominica has mountains to almost 5,000 ft. and the Waitukubuli National Trail, the longest hiking trail in the Caribbean. My wife and I live on the property and guide most of our tours.
