This area is categorized by its old narrow streets. Here you can see the handcrafted memorabilias and you can buy saffron from the small boutiques. There's also a lot of turkish cafes and restaurants. Old style hotels are available here.

The Canyon is pretty good for 2-3 hours, you can walk around 3-4 km, there are couple of water falls but its more kinda a walk in the nature thing which is pretty cool and you follow the water all your way also especially as its not so much crowded. Avoid the Terrace which has a normal view and nothing exciting and you end up paying 5 liras.

The Cristal Terrace is on the way to the Tokatlı Canyoon in Safranbolu. It has an entrance fee but not very high. You can reach to the Cristal Terrace passing through a cafe. You will have plenty options to take a picture with various backgrounds. It is worth to visit If you are especially around Safranbolu/KARABUK. If you are interested in more high adrenalin facilities, you might be interested in a zip line there ????
