Superb way to experience a wide selection of local wines - you buy ten tokens and then can take your pick of upwards of 80 local bottles to try, all of which are well-kept and genuinely excellent. Staff and (I think) owner were very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic and there’s a cafe/wine bar on site where you can get some larger glasses and food afterwards. If there’s a drawback, it’s that the information boards about the local vineyards are only in German, but, as mentioned, the staff are lovely and will field idiotic questions with great patience.

Tours are available in 9 different languages. We are situated in the Bromserhof, a knight's manor of the 15th century. Just above the Drosselgasse in Rudesheim am Rhein. Opening times: From March 1st onwards the museum is open from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. every day. From 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. only on request. Reservation required. Minimum amount of 4 visitors. Visiting Siegfrieds Mechanical Music Kabinett is only possible with a guided tour since we operate the instruments for you.
We were thrilled to see and listen to mechanical music boxes, instruments, player pianos and band-in-a-box marvels from all over the world and from throughout history. The amazing condition and variety of music still available for many of the instruments in their collection was surprising. I have never seen or heard so many different types of mechanical music in one place. Great for kids as well as adults.

It is as nice and elegant as their schloss. Nice modern interiors within the old building and some very nice wines to buy. We did some tasting before buying and the gentleman at the counter was very helpful. We also visited the cellar which is huge and well kept.

Adolf himself walked us through the history of this wine making company and the delights of the wines he offered. It was engaging, delicious and just the right amount of time. The wine cave is picturesque and it's right in the town - great walking distance to many other sights to see.

This shop has just about everything you can imagine related to Christmas. I thought their prices were fair. I was really intrigued with the advent calendar "house" that had little drawers to fill with treats to open as you countdown to Christmas Day. It had a scene in the attic that lit up and played music when a drawer was opened. There is just about any type of ornament that you can imagine, and they also have a nice variety of holiday linens.
