A friendly and welcoming ale house and gin palace in the heart of Rossendale. Locally sourced ales, quality spirits and other beverages. Opened December 2017, substantially extended in August 2019, and now offering 6 cask, 8 craft keg and over 40 gins.
The only thing to say about Casked is it's great. Mike & Amanda are brilliant hosts, doing a great job under the present post lockdown rules. All their staff are excellent and the selection of beers and spirits is second to none. Rawtenstall is now a destination town and Casked is its flagship.

Situated in the Lancashire countryside on the edge of Haslingden in the Rossendale Valley in a listed former church. Holden Wood Antique Centre has over 40 dealers in antiques, collectables, contemporary ceramic art, antique furniture, clocks watches, jewellery, militaria, paintings and books and a wonderful conservatory Tea rooms. Holden Wood Antiques professional dealers and valuers.
Friendly staff and Excellent service. The one way system tot accommodate social distancing for Covid 19 was easy to follow and seemed to be respected by all of the visiting public. The cabinets and displays in the antique centre are excellently laid out and it is easy to get a member of staff to unlock them so you can view the antiques and collectables. The prices are very good and there is an excellent range of antiques and collectables a very good standard with prices to suit most pockets!!! The lighting in the centre is very good and this is one of the best antique centres we have visited for a long time because it is well laid out.

Sited at Rawtenstall Station, Buffer Stops is a cosy bar that offers an award-winning selection of ales, ciders, lagers, continental beers and bar snacks.
Sat outside in the sun waiting for the train and was easily tempted to have a pint. Had to ask if prices on the board outside were for a half or pint- dirt cheap compared to down south. Served with a smile, very Covid safe , recommended whether or not you are catching the train

Great selection of cask and keg beers, some ciders thrown in there too. Appears to be dog and child friendly too! Relaxed, ideal to pop in while shopping :))

It’s always a nice walk up to the Halo panopticon, especially on a nice sunny autumnal day. Beautiful views today. A great walk for all.
