A friendly 5 star tea and coffee shop with delicious cakes, light lunches and a range of unusual giftware.
So our travels have taken us from Lincolnshire, through Avoncroft and onto Ross on Wye for a look around and lunch. The temperature has reached 34 and we are now hungry. After a little look around we were walking up the hill and came across Pots and Pieces. Wow we were lucky! Track and trace completed, we were shown to a table and even though the person had a mask on you could see she was smiling. I ordered the Brie and cranberry toastie with crisps. I could have added salad but too many bad experiences with tired lettuce and a mass of raw red onion put me off that part. What a mistake! My wife ordered the same as I but without the crisps and with salad. When it came it looked fresh, no onions and a fabulous dressing. Oh did I have salad envy ????. The toilet was clean and scented, the decor in the restaurant was beautiful with items for sale and thanks to eat out to help out the meal was half price! Go there if you are in Ross it has lovely people working there, amazingly friendly and I could not fault service or food.

Tucked into the Herefordshire countryside, this is a little shop with a lot to offer. Whether you visit us for coffee and cake or to do your shopping you'll always receive service with a smile. We opened in 2011 and business has continued to flourish thanks to the fantastic support of our local communities. No doubt it's also down to the irrepressible inventiveness of Shop Owner Lucy Gardner. Thanks to her we now offer a great range of products and services from the basic to the outright extravagant and our team always works hard to give a little something extra to our customers.
Called in to Woods today with thoughts of a family meal tonight. Great selection of locally-produced food available, settled on the Goats Cheese and Sweet Potato pie - to cook at home. Delicious. Always a great welcome, great choice and really friendly staff. This shop is a blessing to any community. They also have a cafe/restaurant upstairs but I have not had chance to try this yet.

Made in Ross is a co-operative of local arts and craft producers living within 20 miles of the beautiful market town of Ross-on-Wye. Dedicated to the development of Ross as a thriving and creative place, the diverse range of work that our members produce and sell is beautifully displayed seven days a week at the historic Market House in the centre of Ross. Our members manage the exhibition space and our volunteers are on hand to welcome and assist visitors from 10am to 4pm every day. Part of our sales goes towards the upkeep of this wonderful building and to support the Courtyard, an educational arts charity.
Certainly worth a visit if you are in or around Ross-on-Wye. It's a great place to pick up a unique piece of local art/craft work and good to see that local artists and crafts people have a permanent place to display and sell their work.

Having just returned from a spa day at the Wye Valley Spa, I feel the need to share what a wonderful experience we all had. We had a group booking for 6 of us and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for us from start to finish. We booked 3 treatments each and I was lucky enough to have the same therapist (Shanna) throughout. As a women who suffers with her confidence, I was immediately put at ease by Shannas outgoing and friendly nature. Shanna was very welcoming and polite not to mention patient with my fidgeting! The treatments (microdermabrasion facial, neck back and shoulder massage and full body scrub) were absolutely divine! I have never felt so relaxed as to when it came to leave (unfortunately as I could have happily stayed all night!) Every single person who works in the spa were so hard-working welcoming and friendly I honestly cannot wait to return. Thank you all so much for an amazing day of relaxation. Please note: satnav took me completely off the beaten track and said I had arrived at my destination, so if attending, be sure not to miss the turning!

This must be the best butterfly house in the UK and with the maze, maze museum and crazy golf it filled in most of the day for boys and girls aged 7-10 years. The mums enjoyed it to. There is a small cafe and picnic tables. The downside is that even though you are refunded £1 of the £2 car park fee and there is plenty of parking, over stay by 1 minute and you receive a hefty £100 fine. It really does spoil the day. We were planning on returning with various relatives and groups of friends but after the parking issue, we won't be going back.
