Rome wasn't built in a day--and you'll need much more than a day to take in this timeless city. The city is a real-life collage of piazzas, open-air markets, and astonishing historic sites. Toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain, contemplate the Colosseum and the Pantheon, and sample a perfect espresso or gelato before spending an afternoon shopping at the Campo de’Fiori or Via Veneto. Enjoy some of the most memorable meals of your life here, too, from fresh pasta to succulent fried artichokes or a tender oxtail stew.

Ice cream in Rome
Delicious gelato, friendly and perfectly located. Stumbled on this little gem during my first visit to Rome so when I realized I had found it again I immediately told my husband it was time for a gelato break.

Paciotti is the reference point in Rome in the area of salumi, cheeses and italian food specialities in general. Inside the shop you will find a huge selection of Italian delicacies such as cheeses, salamis, hams, wines, spirits, balsamic vinegar and truffle products. In addition, we also make vacuum packs, to deliver products to all over the world without any problems.
If you are in the Vatican City area, Paciotti Salumeria is a MUST! This family establishment is full of character and a delectable aroma. Luca, the youngest brother of the establishment, and his older brother, I didn't remember his was name, were so incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable and during my visit. Luca took his time in explaining about all of the meats, cheeses and even recommended a great wine to pair with my picks. Side Note: It was so good that we went back 45 minutes later to get more meat! You will not regret stopping by~

A lovely shop to visit with bags and other leather goods that are truely outstanding. We first purchased here during a precovid visit to Rome. The visit in itself was memorable.Such a gentle and competent family, justly proud of their creations.Recently ordered two more bages ,one for my retiring secretary of 25 years and one for my wife.My wife is not one prone to false praise, especially given her obsession with bags but this is her direct text to me when she opened them, after a typically efficient ordering, construction and delivery process "Oh my God.Just opened them .They are stunning."Enough said .Thank you.

We learned about this Enoteca while dining at our favorite trattoria in Rome. The shop is right next door and Fabio took the time to listen to us and learn what we like in wine. He made excellent suggestions catered to our taste and was not pushy at all. He is like a very knowledgeable friend recommending wine types. We shipped a case home and it arrived excellently packaged and secure. We will definitely order from Fabio in the future and this is one of the first places we will visit the next time we are in Rome!

Each single piece of jewellery that we create is a tour through the beauty, the works of art that we have preserved through the centuries, the history that represents us, and the Italian style, recognizable all over the world: a symbol of elegance and quality, which makes us unique in terms of design and quality of craftsmanship. Ancient art is set in a precious object with contemporary shape.
I purchased a ring from Grand Tour Collection 3 years ago and recently chipped the base of my ring. I emailed them and sent photos and they immediately got back to me and told me to return the ring and they would replace the base no cost!!!! Amazing. I mailed back the ring using UPS ($29.00) and will have a new base very soon. They have the most beautiful custom jewelry and with customer service like this I will continue to order from them. I receive the most wonderful complements when I wear my ring. *****5 stars for design and serviice.

We happened across this beautiful store after dinner and we’re thrilled to find it. Adrius took care and time to explain the sun dial he had made to my son and created a truly special memory for him. He purchased it with his Christmas money and has something timeless he will keep forever. Thank you.

The Antica Caciara Trasteverina is an ancient shop in the heart of Rome whose name was given by the same "transteverins": here, in fact, the shepherds broght their cheeses (called "caci" or "caciotte") from the roman countryside. The shop, founded in 1900, is run today by Roberto Polica and his wife Anna. Roberto, thanks to the passion inherited by his father Antonio and his grandfather Albino, lets know to all his clients hand-made and high quality italian products. Professionality and kindness make the Antica Caciara Trasteverina a shop loved not only by the romans, but by all the people who visited it once in a life.
This is the place where everyone would know your name if you lived in trastevere and wanted great cheese and charcuterie. The folks who work here are kind and welcoming without any attitude whatsoever. The only vibe here is how can I help you and share some of this wonderful tasty culinary goodness. The folks here will make amazing simple yet delectable sandwiches here for you. A bottle of good wine and two sandwiches sets you back about 20 euros, which is a steal based on the quality of the food and booze and the kind and welcoming staff. This is a great place to come for a picnic or if you’ve just had too much to eat but still want a little something something because when you are in Rome, you still must dine as the Romans do. Can’t say enough great things about this place. Simple. Delicious. Kind. Welcoming.
