Named by American soldiers during the post-World War II occupation years, the Romantic Road is a 200-mile-plus section of one of Germany's most picturesque highways, stretching from Würzburg in Bavaria's north to Füssen near the Austrian border. Along the route are many favorite tourist towns and attractions, including Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Dinkelsbühl, Augsburg, and Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. Bike tours along the route are quite popular, and bus tours are also available.

At our vineyard rally, we playfully bring the Franconian wine tradition closer to the guests. It is a successful mix of knowledge, sociability and activities that anyone of any age can do well. This concept is suitable for the company board, as well as for the bachelor party, family trip or club trip, we can adapt the concept according to your wishes. For a vineyard rally, we need a minimum of 8 participants.

Because sundials only count the hours when it’s bright, things must be particularly bright on fine days in Röttingen! All in all, 25 unique timepieces can be admired along the two kilometres of the sundials trail – and not just these. The tour leads us into the Medieval town centre, through streets with beautiful half-timbered houses, and past Brattenstein Castle, which provides a romantic backdrop for Röttingen’s annual Franconian festival. And outside the city walls, with their seven remaining well-preserved fortified towers, something quite different attracts us: a unique landscape of vineyards, gentle hills, orchards and stone structures.
