Very nice and interesting place. Arriving at this beautiful square, they immediately catch the eye of the beautiful palace. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The history of this square as well as Tre Martiri Square is interesting. Piazza Cavour is the political and economic center of the city since the beginning of the thirteenth century, when it gained importance with the construction of the palace dell'Arengo. The square is beautiful because it is eventful. It is possible to admire the beautiful Palazzo dell'Arengo (1204), where in medieval times justice court was administered and the assembly of the Municipality met. In the square we can enjoy two more beautiful palaces Palazzo del Podestà and Palazzo Garampi. At the center of the square, on the other hand, stands the imposing bronze statues of Pope Paul V, by Nicolò Cordier and Sebastiano Sebastiani, a monument erected by the citizens in gratitude to the Pope in 1614. The square also houses the famous Teatro Amintore Galli in neoclassical style, inaugurated in 1857 by Giuseppe Verdi, as well as the historic Library and the interesting Fish Market building. In the middle of the square there is the beautiful Fontana della Pigna. We enjoyed every look, every step, beautiful square.

What a place! Get a good map, try to get some birding information.. The guys who drives the boat are often willing to help. At this location there is a good tower with many different gulls and terns flying by. In the salines wade herons and spoonbills, if they are not hidden behind the numerous flamingoes. Try also to figure out the tweets and whistles from the bushes below the tower. Continue west/south through the poplars and you'll pass nesting Rollers! The trees hide plenty of calling Orioles! Another good tower is to be found just a few kilometers from the starting point. Very good!

I hadn't realised that Rimini had such a historical heart. The city centre is an attractive collection of ancient Roman remains and medieval buildings amassed about the two main squares of Piazza Cavour and the Piazza Tre Martiri. There's the Tiberius bridge and the Arch of Augustus - both remarkably well preserved.

It's always a pleasure to walk down this scenic little bit of old town Cesenatico. Pkenty of great bars and restaurants are on hand for you to sit and watch the wold go by as you eat or drink. The historic fishing boats are decked out with Christmas tableaux of the Nativity over the festive period. Wonderful after dark!

Comacchio is a beautiful small town. Despite the compact center there are plenty of interesting sights. The most famous one is the bridge "Trepponti". Depending on where you parked, this is the bridge you will cross to get into the Historic Center. And it's an interesting bridge. Not just by the style and architecture. It's also special because it's a bridge that spreads over not just one, but two canals on each side.So it's "three-legged" so to say. Three - Tre. Built in 1638 this bridge soon will be 400 years old. And it's still in wonderful shape. Some changes and improvements were made of course over the centuries. A great sight. Surely not to be missed when visiting Comacchio.
