Staying at Singer Island is becoming a family favorite each year. Three amazing snorkel opportunities do not cost much. By the pump house near Marriott Ocean Pointe, Peanut Island, and Phil Foster Park. This year we packed our extra snorkel gear in a suitcase. If you need there are plenty of amazing snorkel tour opportunities or you can go to Wings to buy supplies. If you do online and TripAdvisor research you can find maps to the snorkel trail and realize that high tide is the time to go. It is easy to search when high tide is for the day you go. Get there 30-60 minutes before to find parking (free), prepare, and claim a spot on the beach under the bridge. My wife and I are average swimmers and did the complete snorkel tour in an hour. Our teenagers have been on the swim team and it was really fun for them to dive below the surface and play with the fishes. All of us were comfortable floating in saltwater and lifeguards are watching. Again if you need you can buy a fun noodle or a snorkel life jacket if that will help. This is a must-do activity that you will remember for many years and like us come back to do!
