I had a great time. It's very easy to learn how to sail and the staff is great. all you have to remember is to let go of the rope.

Have you ever tried drinking a cactus? Don’t miss this special experience when you’re on Bonaire! The Cadushy Distillery produces something you would have never imagined: excellent liqueur, made out of cactus. Entrance to the Cadushy Distillery including a tour with explanation of the process and including the tasting of their liqueurs is entirely free! The only thing you need to bring is your good mood ;-)

As part of an organized tour, we stopped in Rincon at the Cadushy Distillery. It wasn't very big, but interesting! Entrepreneurs have made cactus liquor rum, and other spirits... they are endeavoring to create beer and expand this wonderful tourist spot. Samples were offered at the center of the compound under a large gourd tree. It was definitely worth the stop!

Join our local tour guide at the Echo Conservation Center and enjoy an hour-long exploration into nature. You will get the opportunity to witness the endangered Yellow-shouldered Amazon Parrot, flying through the morning or evening sky. On your Echo journey, you will also learn all about native tree species, wildlife and how we are using conservation programs to preserve Bonaire's beautiful nature.

Excellent Museum with Myrna as our guide. She explains the history of this home with great care and knowledge. We even received a demonstration of hand grinding the soragom. We enjoyed light refreshments and traditional Papiamentu breakfast pancakes. Make a reservation in advance. Do not go on Cruise Ship Days...very over crowded then but this little hidden gem in Rincon is worth the time and energy to pick up the phone and schedule a private tour. This museum survives on donations only...so don't be a stingy and bypass the donation box! The home is in excellent shape. Little children should keep their hands to themselves! If they can't leave them outside as there are many breakable artifacts in the small Museum.
