We had a great time on our walking tour, which turned out to be a private tour with just me and my husband. Our guide Marta was wonderful, so kind and knowledgeable and passionate about the art and history of Ravenna she shared with us. There were so many details we would not have seen without her. She was fun and easy to talk to, and did not mind when I stopped to take many, many photos. Thank you Marta!
It’s amazing how many outdoor monuments we will discover during our walking: the Tiberius Bridge and the Arch of Augustus keep alive the Roman origin of the city, the Cavour square shows us the medieval prints, the Tempio malatestiano remind us of the lively renaissance time, the Tre Martiri square admonish us of the awfulness of the Second World War. Our tour includes all this and much more, wear comfortable shoes, bring your camera at hand, be ready to live an emotional experience!
