The Richmond Rose Garden, which is entirely maintained by volunteers, celebrates the joy of our environment with the beauty of roses.
While the Rose Garden is next to the main east/west route through town, you will be get caught up in the colors of the roses and the sound of the water fountain. My wife and I did volunteer work here, weeding, trimming and general clean up, one summer after getting our Master Gardener certificates. The Tropicana will always be my most favorite rose and unforgettable memory from that time.

The historic importance of Gennett Records in the 20's can not be stressed enough. Recordings by Charley Patton, Louis Armstrong, Hogey Carmichael and many, many others happened here in Richmond, Ind. Plenty to learn and has a music/history buff I love the stop over in Richmond, always something new to discover

Easy walk down to the waterfall. The kids and pup had fun wading in the water. Parking is limited. Worth a trip if your in the area.
