The 19th, century collection features the extraordinary « Portrait of Madame de Senonnes » by Ingres and « The Wheat Sifters » by Courbet. A wonderful museum and stunning architecture. This museum was closed for 6 years for refurbishment and it was worth it. The incredible collection of art is perfectly displayed and the museum is so light and airy. Great staff and very reasonable prices.
