Located in the center of the city, it is a must to visit. Beautifully preserved. Free entrance to the cathedral, though you need to pay to visit the museum and the tower.

VisitRibe is a modern Visitor information centre, where you can personally search for information about Ribe, Esbjerg, The Wadden Sea Nationalpark and a number of other exiting sights and attractions in the Wadden Sea coastal area. The visitor information centre contains the very latest information technology, brochures and maps of the area, and naturally Wi-Fi is available for free of charge. When the staff have gone home after normal office hours, you can still search for information at the visitor's centre.
Had a fantastic day in Ribe. What a charming old city with so much history and beautiful areas. Nature is never far away in this city. Go though an open gate facing the street and you will most likely find a little garden, a cafe or maybe a B&B. Experience the narrow streets or the cozy paths behind Nederdammen and Sct Nicolas Gade. If you have any doubts about visiting Ribe, just go there. You will not regret it.

Typical wadden sea invironment. Lovely place to watch the boats go between river and sea. Parking and toilets available next to the sluis. From the dike you have a good view point out over the marsh land towards the sea. A small road runs along the dike and makes for great walking, cycling and drive. Plenty of stopping places which offers good views of the bird life in the area.
