My daughter did some pottery classes at school so we thought this museum might be an interesting place for a quick visit. It was a stunning surprise. We had an extremely knowledgeable guide and the time we spent went too quickly. It was a perfect blend of history and the present. It is easy to find and close to other places to visit.

Llantrisant’s magnificent Guildhall is a unique visitors' and activity centre set in the heart of an ancient hilltop town. The Guildhall at Llantrisant is a restored 14th century building that stands proudly on the crest of a hill alongside the romantic, ruined splendour of a ancient castle. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and scenery, the Grade II listed building provides a wealth of activities. As a heritage and visitors’ centre it tells the remarkable story of an historic Welsh town which has witnessed a colourful past unlike any other. Today it also provides a unique venue for weddings, high-end events, private and corporate hire.
I am so lucky to have this beautiful building on my doorstep. A fantastic venue, adding so much to our community. Well worth a visit to learn about Llantrisant’s history. Great events for children and adults alike. I am very much looking forward to attending Christmas events and pop up cinema weekend. The volunteer staff are knowledgeable and do a wonderful job. I love visiting this splendid building, thank you.
