This is our second time visiting Bear World, and the price went up quite a bit. It's a great way to get an update close-ish view of bears. Our kids enjoyed it. The first time we went our kids were small and now that they've all seen it we've had our fill.

We went the the flight museum after reading the terrible reviews of Yellowstone bear world and are so glad we did!
Best way to kill time between soccer games, ever. Everyone enjoyed it.
The volunteers are experienced military veterans who love to share their knowledge and time.
This day, they were taking the planes out to test them before the bi-annual air show, so we got to see them in action, such an incredible way to interact with an exhibit.
I will be putting this stop on my list of things to must-do in the region for others, and will be back myself!

Welcome to the Gravity Factory! 25,000 square feet of trampolines, ninja warrior course & fun! There is something for all ages here!
We have taken our family of 7 there 5 times in two weeks and still all the kids want to do is go back. There is something for everyone to do and the staff is awesome to help teach you tricks. It has brought our family together like nothing else in the area to have fun and bond. Thanks GRAVITY FACTORY for gives us something that all seven of us can agree on for family fun.
PS. The Graffiti Walls are out of this world.

Placed just above the South Fork of the Snake River, this trail offers beautiful vista points, and secluded glens. The trails are used often for local cub and scout groups; the terrain is varied, with easy as well as steep portions in the loop. It provides a nice variety of exercise and is very popular with the locals. It is fairly close to Heise Hot Springs, so a swim and pizza could be at the end of the hike. Big Judds is also fairly close, fun place for a giant burger. This is a beautiful and free place to go enjoy the best of the upper Snake River Valley.

The grounds of this LDS temple are just beautiful. They are carefully manicured and surround an edifice that catches the eye all across the valley. Entry to the building is limited to worthy members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but the grounds are available for public access. We loved walking around the building, especially the sloped lawn and gardens to the west. It felt peaceful and restful, so clean and purposely designed to help you forget the worries of the world around. The temple is on the campus of Brigham Young University Idaho, surrounded by farm land and perched atop a hill that affords a view of the whole upper snake river plane. We love to visit here with our children and grandchildren too.

Rexburg Rapids is a premium outdoor water park featuring slides, a climbing wall, and a lazy river. There is a kids park as well which offers plenty of fun for the whole family. It has been in operation since 2011 and offers the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day.
We took several of our grandchildren to this water park and had a blast! I was impressed with the vigilant lifeguards, the helpful staff, and especially the variety of things for children to do. There is a splash pool, with all kinds of water squirting up and around, with just enough depth to make it fun for little children to play safely; There is a shallow pool, then there is a deeper pool so swimmers could have fun as well. There is a water slide that only costs $1.50 more than the entrance fee, so that was a good deal. The teens only went on it a few times, because there was a bit of a line. My favorite was the lazy river. I could take several children along and just float with them. They loved it time and time again. There is plenty of parking, beautifully kept lawn all around, and there is a concession stand with pizza and other items. The dressing rooms are clean, with lockers and toilets, and showers (with privacy curtains) This is a very popular place, but was memorable for the little children especially.

I booked our family of six for the Escape House as part of a trip to Idaho Falls and Rexburg several months in advance. I received a confirmation text but didn't follow-up on it. Apparently I booked during the week that they were moving from one location to another and my reservation didn't register on their end. After the four-plus hour drive from Utah we arrived just on time to find the doors locked and lights off. Normally that would not be the start of a five-star review, but when we called them, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. We had to return to home the next morning, so they fit us in after a short wait (just long enough for us to have lunch at the Burg - YUM). It was obviously not convenient for them because two different people had to split the time as monitor/helper, but it never showed. We had a great time instead of a disappointing start to our vacation. Too bad we didn't have time to try out the other scenario as well. Thanks, Escape House staff.

Pricing is average, but quality is not worth the price. The bowling balls all look like a beaver went wild on them. Floors are not flat (slow thrown ball will roll all over). Every lane around us was having issues returning balls and were continually setting incorrectly, with pins dropping all the time. The kid ramps are all crooked.
Find another place to bowl.

The museum is based on the history of Rexburg and the surrounding areas. Included are stories of the artifacts and residents. We also have a guided tour of the Teton Dam Flood and a video presentation. The children's museum is equipped with exciting rotating craft projects and activities. Also included are an interactive sand table and fun scavenger hunts. A self guided tour for the historical, pioneer-built Tabernacle is also included.
The museum is in the basement - so call ahead to get assistance with the wheel-chair lift. (Jill was most helpful).
The film is very informative; not only explaining the engineering decisions that led to the collapse of the dam but also the town rebuilding efforts (in the UK we call it "war-time spirit").
The scale model and many historic artifacts made our visit a worthwhile couple of hours.
