Visitors have the opportunity to see three generations of olive oil production.The old olive mill that was run with a donkey , a mill that was run on a diesel machine and of course the machinery that our family is using now. Visitors can also taste and buy olive oil from our family's production.All visitors have a guided tour and a taste of the olive oil and raki free of charge. The Paraschakis Family Olive Oil Factory is open every day from 9:00 to 18:00 except Sunday. From the 5th of April to the 10th of April 2019 we will be closed.

Great farm. The owner was super nice and gave our group an interesting tour on historical and modern olive oil production. We had a small oil tasting. The product is of exceptional quality and very reasonably priced. A must stop when traveling the area.

When you are in Rethymno, Crete, do not miss this wonderful trove of musical treasures and knowledge. The exhibition of musical instruments, all beautifully hand-made is a great introduction to Cretan music. The generous hospitality included professional explanations and a demonstration. A lovely surprise to find this shop in sleepy Maroulas as it’s a tiny village. When you enter the building you are met with beautiful aromas. Mariannas very helpful and knowledgable about the produce she sells. Well worth a visit.

I booked online very easily for a transfer from Heraklion Airport to Rethymno and back while on vacation in Crete on August 2020. The driver was always on time with all the necessary measures for covid-19 taken. Children seats were available also. I strongly recommend this company and I will definitely book with them again in the future.
