The Atlantis Diving Center was founded in 1993 at the Rithymna Beach Hotel in Adelianos Campos near Rethymnon on the north coast of Crete by Giorgos Gioumpakis. Since 2002, there is a branch at the Grecotel Club Marine Palace in Panormo. The Atlantis team offers diving courses with PADI standards for beginners as well as advanced training with diving trips. There are no mass dives but safe diving in smaller groups with individual care. This is first priority at Atlantis Diving Centers. The Atlantis Diving Centers are also ideal for families with children. Guests of the Rithymna Beach Hotel and the Club Marine Palace can let their children from 3 years upward being entertained at the hotels' Children's Camps which are affiliated to the hotels, whilst the parents enjoy their holidays.

Phoenix Dive Club was the first PADI-dive center in Crete. Since 20 years we educate sporty and interested candidates for Scuba Diving. The high level of the education of our diving school – adequate to the PADI guidelines – enjoys the best reputation nationwide. Our instructors love diving, even many of them started her/his career and grow up in our dive school.

I'm Kapetan Manolis, a professional fisherman, and my love for the sea goes back to my school years. I live in Rethymno where I was born, and I materialized my dream, relating my love for the sea to a regular profession, in 1998. I have gathered substantial experience through my many jobs on other's fishing boats in Crete. My company, ''Rethymno Fishing Trips: The Lucky Hook'' offers a range of boat and fishing trips on the north and south coasts of Rethymno, Crete.
