I don't know what is more impressive - views of nature or watching rock climbers scale cliff walls! Bring water and you can have your pick of different trails (difficulty scale is accurate).

We went to the art gallery and learned from his lovely wife how much time and research Alfred does before he paints a picture. Very thought-provoking art. We left with a few souvenirs to remind us of our trip. I was able to schedule a 2 hour one to one drawing class with Alfred and left with 3/4 of an eagle done. We will definitely go back for a visit, might even make it artists retreat with some friends.

Tumalo Mountain

Scenic mountain lined with fir and pine trees: great for hiking and skiing.

Reviewed By WeAlwaysWAnder - Olympia, United States

One of the best views in central Oregon that I feel is somewhat of an easier hike considering the view! It is uphill the whole way, but the pitch isn't too steep. I am not is top shape and was able to make it. Views of Broken Top Mountain to the North and Mount Bachelor to the South. Elevation gain of 1400 ft. in about 1.5 miles. Worth the huffing and puffing!

Sam Johnson Park

Reviewed By jamesbU9220BG - Fidalgo Island, United States

While in Redmond for a week, we went to this park a number of times. We used the great Pickleball courts and biked the Dry Canyon path. That path connects a series of parks, lots of nature and open areas.
