Principe di Tricase Winery

We make Italian wine the Italian way! Award winning wines from Aglianico, Nebbiolo and Aleatico grapes. Passito sweet dessert wines and all natural balsamic vinegars complete our own creations. We have learned to make our products without adding anything to them for a better quality and enhancement of their healthy properties and tasting experience.

Visiting here is like visiting southern Italy - the family offers true hospitality in a very rustic setting with a menagerie of animals that roam an enclosure near the tasting area. We saw peacocks, chickens, rabbits and even turkeys as we enjoyed some very interesting italian wines.

We have been focused on sustainability since we first moved to Ramona in 2004. Our wines are produced from Estate and local Ramona vineyards that we have personally selected for the quality fruit due to the meticulous attention of each grower. You can taste the care and commitment to the land in every glass of our award winning wines, including the Double-Gold, Best of Class Estate Tannat. Micole Moore, together with his wife, Teri Kerns, owns Ramona Ranch Winery, where he is the primary winemaker, and COO. Classic Rotors, The Rare & Vintage Rotorcraft Museum

One of only four dedicated helicopter museums in the world with 36 aircraft as well as engines and related equipment on display. A working aviation museum organized for docent led as well as self-guided tours. Dedicated to the preservation of rotary-wing and vertical flight aviation history.

What an amazing and enjoyable visit! My husband and I found Classic Rotors while driving in Ramona, and as air museum geeks, we happily stopped to check it out. It's located at the Ramona Airport, just outside of town. We both come from military families (Navy, Army, Air Force), and as soon as we walked into the hanger, we felt like we were visiting old friends. We were greeted warmly by Chip (retired Navy and flight instructor), and basically started a private tour of the packed hanger, full of incredible helicopters. It's an admirable display of organization - it's not a huge hanger, but the way they've fit in all of those helicopters will remind you of playing Tetris. So much to check out - plus a few that you're able to climb inside and explore! We met Howard, one of men who worked on the DuPont Aerospace DP-1 (designed to take off/land like a helicopter and fly like a plane). Ask him for the story of how he crashed it during testing, lol! And we also met Mark, the founder of Classic Rotors, who could not have been more gracious of his time and brimming with fabulous stories. We learned so much about the physics of rotor flight, how jet engines work, all about the pioneers of helicopters - it was brilliant! The pride, the dedication, the extensive knowledge and true passion shines through with everyone there that we met. I could not recommend this phenomenal museum enough - go visit! The museum is open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, so make sure you check the website for hours and directions. Big thanks to Chip, Howard, Mark and Skip, for the outstanding hospitality!
