Our English speaking visitors really enjoyed our guided tour in the Museum. It's the best introduction to the region! And the kids loved the painting workshop. Highly recommended!!!

Rabka is known as the 'Town of the Children of the World"
Traveling from the slovak part of High Tatras to Cracow (by the shortest road) you have surely to go through the small polish village Rabka-Zdrój. You can find there great opportunity how to spend time with your children exceptionally. Visit the Rabkoland. Rabkoland is a nice funk park for all kind of your children from the 4th to 12th years of age. You can find 34 attractions including water ones there is also magician theatre and 28m high ferris wheel. We spent around 6 hours there and it was really fun time also for adults. I can really recommend.

Bardzo ciekawe zbiory prezentujące dawny świat górali zamieszkujących Beskidy. Zgromadzono także instrumenty muzyczne, zabawki oraz zdjęcia Władysława Orkana i jego matki.

One of the main reasons why people visit Rabka Zdroj is to go hill walking. All around Rabka are the Gorce hills which are partly wooded. There are way-marked walks from the Park Zdrojowy up through the hills, the most popular route being that of a walk up Maciejowa. A traveller's rest at the top of Maciejowa is the reward for climbing to the top. It's a typical Polish walker's shelter that offers simple meals, drinks and an optional bed for the night. Outside is a barbecue area and Seating for picnics.
It's the climb and associated views up the hill that make this route so popular. The scenery is beautiful and the Tatra Mountains can be glimpsed at points along the way on clear days.
Walkers pass fields of wheat and hand-made haystacks in late summer, There are wooded areas to climb through and meadows. All kinds of wild flowers can be found along the route. In spring are the bright yellow 'kaczanki' or duck flowers and primroses, summer brings a host of various flowers that include those from the pea family, daisies, buttercups and a host of others. This is a good place to see a natural meadow. There is the occasional cow or horse tethered in a field and lots of other walkers who always greet each other with 'dziendobry' which means 'good day'.
Looking down on the Valleys below from the heights of the hills, the multicoloured houses, each in their own generous plot make a very pretty picture.
Occasionally, one meets horse riders, mountain bikers and quad bike riders. This is Rabka's outdoor playground and people come from far and wide to walk up Maciejowa hill.
If you still have energy remaining when you get to the top, a level plateau leads into the Gorczanski National Park and more stunning scenery. Hill walkers could continue walking south, stopping at various shelters for the night.

Miejsce sympatyczne, sporo miejsc spacerowych, ławeczki, fontanna Słonik na początku. Niestety przed sezonem,a zwłaszcza w tygodniu, park jest pusty i nic się tam nie dzieje.
