La Cour d'Orgères has been specialised in home-made jam for over 40 years. Making jam is a real means of self-expression for Vérène and Marie-Charlotte Indekeu who carry on the know-how inherited from their family and constantly stretch the limits of culinary inventiveness. They select the tastiest fruit and create recipes that are subtle and surprising, a perfect balance between tradition and modernity. More than just a treat, jam becomes a refined way to add a distinctive touch to your desserts or savoury dishes.
the icedream was divine. I wish they had not been out of Violet flavor.. because.. DUDE! VIOLET flavored icecream would be like the most early summer thing EVER.. I shall return with the express purpose to try it. as it was I had yoghurt (OMG!!!) and fraise, and went to watch the sunset

a GLORIOUS sunset in dramatic settings, the typically rounded rocks of Brittany alternating with vivid sandy vegetation: samphire and beach purslane along side low growing prickly bushes. It was very windy but beautifully so we did have our Ice cream from nearby la cour d'orgères before we went up to the high point, sitting on the edge of the world as the sun dipped into the sea
