We’re driving through and thought we would stop and have a look to break up the drive. Thought we would take about half an hour. Two hours later we left. The volunteers went around with us explaining about all the exhibits and buildings. Their knowledge and enthusiasm was exceptional. Some of the exhibits were items from our childhood but most were from earlier times. Highly recommend as well worth the visit

Cherbourg is a beautiful community and it offers a great chance to experience the local Aboriginal community’s past, the shared history of white Australians. I have yet to have the opportunity to undertake the cultural experience offered by The Ration Shed, but they did host us for the week in their beautifully appointed and restored buildings within The Ration Shed grounds. As a venue for training it is worth the drive to be surrounded in such fantastic stories of survival and strength of the community into the future. Thank you to the team at The Ration Shed for looking after us.

Highly recommend doing the south burnett region wine tour. Harvey is excellent. His local knowledge is limitless. Had a fabulous day visiting local wineries and enjoying the scenery.

Despite being run completely by volunteers, this course is beautiful. Fairways and rough are nice to play from, greens recently cored so a bit jumpy and the course as a whole plays really well. Enjoyed every minute.
