What to do and see in Queens, Queens: The Best City Tours

December 17, 2021 Velvet Mowry

Queens is the most ethnically diverse area of its size on Earth, which means there's a little something for everyone. Chow down on Indian food, sit in on a traditional Irish pub music session, and dance the night away at a Puerto Rican nightclub, all of it located within a few subway stops. Queens is also the home of the Mets and the US Tennis Open, and the former home of the New York World's Fair, now Flushing Meadow-Corona Park, and Paramount Pictures, now the Museum of the Moving Image.

When I booked this tour I had to talk my wife into it a bit. By the end of the tour and the rest of the day it was all she could talk about. We both loved it!!Our guide was incredible and so much knowledge about this subject, area and buildings. Learned new things about the mob and laughed so much, he kept it so entertaining!! This is a must do if you are headed to NYC and best way to see Little Italy/China Town for sure.

Amazing tour with Marcos! The tour was given in both Spanish and English and the amount of information that was told was unbelievable. The sites we were taken to, the organisation of the tour and the general atmosphere in the bus is to be commended. Would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!

Overall this experience was very good, first time to NYC for my honeymoon. Wife had been before. Limo was right on time, 10 mins early in fact, driver was friendly and bottle of champagne waiting for us on limo. Trip around Manhattan and through Times Square was beautiful and he waited for us as we had dinner at The View. Dinner was lovely, apart from the fact they never received our booking on their end which at the start was a bit of chaos but it all worked out. Food was really nice. They also brought an extra dessert as we were on honeymoon which was nice of them. Lastly as we were dropped to hotel i went to tip the driver and then he told me I also had to pay him $40 For the champagne, which was ok, but seemed sprung on me. Maybe going forward they can include this on the booking to avoid further confusion.

I booked a tour with my mother and we had Gary as our tour guide and Boris as our driver. Both were superlative. The staff took what I wanted to see in NYC and designed a plan to see most of it. Gary's knowledge of history and movies of New York was great conversation for the tour and Boris was a perfect gentleman helping ma get in and out of the SUV.

We definitely got our chuckles in but wait staff could’ve been more attentive and gotten our drink order correctly. It was great entertainment and energy. Would definitely return.
